    General Tutoring Agreement

    This Tutoring Agreement (“Agreement”) is made and entered into as of the submission of the linked form, by and between:

    Tutor: Excelling in Education LLC
    Parent/Guardian: As listed in the linked form
    Student(s): As listed in the linked form 

    Collectively referred to as “Parties.”

    1. Services Provided

    • The Tutor agrees to provide academic tutoring services to the Student(s) according to scheduled sessions on TutorBird. 

    2. Scheduling and Cancellations

    • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
    • If the Student(s) cancels with less than 24 hours’ notice or fails to attend a scheduled session, the full session fee will be charged.
    • The Tutor will give at least 24 hours notice of any cancellations or reschedules whenever possible.

    3. Payment Terms

    • Payment is due each Friday at 12pm Eastern for all sessions conducted in the previous week.
    • All payments will be collected through TutorBird.
    • Late payments may be subject to a late fee of 10% of the late amount per day.

    4. No Guarantee of Academic Results

    The Tutor makes no guarantees regarding the Student’s academic performance or improvement in grades as a result of tutoring. While every effort will be made to help the Student(s) understand the material and improve study habits, academic success depends on multiple factors outside the Tutor’s control, including the Student’s effort, school instruction, and test conditions.

    5. Confidentiality

    The Tutor agrees to keep all student records and personal information confidential and to use such information only for the purposes of providing tutoring services.

    6. Termination

    Either Party may terminate this Agreement at any time with one week’s notice given in writing. The Parent will be responsible for payment of all sessions conducted prior to termination.

    7. Entire Agreement

    This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Parties and supersedes all prior discussions or agreements, whether written or oral. Any amendments to this Agreement must be made in writing and signed by both Parties. By submitting the linked form, you agree to this Agreement.
